Timothy Ward Ministries

Pastor's Bio

Rev. Timothy Ward comes from a life of alcohol, drugs, pornography and failed relationships. It is through all of this that the Lord Jesus has shown Himself faithful. I gave my heart to the Lord in 1987, at which time I was bombarded by the enemy. In 1989, events transpired that forced me out of the church I attended, making me re-evaluate "church" and church people.

I left the church and lived for the world, for a season of about seven years. However, I was very miserable because I knew that I was supposed to be serving God. I knew that God had called me into the ministry. I came back to the church and began working for the Lord. Again, events transpired which caused me to lose confidence in church leadership. Again, I left the church. I had taken my focus off of God and was looking at man.

I would remain away from the church, and God until the year 2000. It was at this time that I made up my mind to follow the Lord no matter what people said or did. I was serving "Him". I re-dedicated my life to Christ in 2000, and I was licensed to preach in 2001. I was ordained in 2003 and started Timothy Ward Ministries, Inc. I received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree in 2006 from Victory Bible College. I have been blessed of the Lord to be able to teach and preach His Word, but also to have two books published. I pray that the Lord will continue to provide opportunities for me to be able to share with others the life changing, delivering and healing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I have also been blessed with my wife, Lynn. We met in church, and neither of us were interested in a relationship at the time. We both had come from failed relationships. We, unknowingly to each other, had been praying the same prayer. We both told God that we were tired of relationships and if He wanted us to be with someone, He would have to bring them into our lives because we were not looking anymore. We were through trying. But, God had other plans. He put us together and we were married in 2002. She is truly a blessing of the Lord, and works hard to keep me straight. I don't always make it easy, but she never gives up. I thank God for the gift He gave me in her. I simply pray that I can be the husband she deserves and God has made me to be. She has truly shown me the love of God and what it means to love unconditionally.

I know that God has anointed me to teach His Word, to pray for the sick, and to bring hope to the hopeless. I simply am trusting Him to open the doors of opportunity, which I will step through gladly and humbly. It is all about HIM!
